چکیده
The paper discusses the issues of providing population Russian Federation with milk and dairy products, increasing production, implementing investment projects in industry. It is noted that technological technical support, as well improving systems keeping, feeding milking animals play an important role solving problems efficiency farming. Particular attention paid to introduction innovative technologies modern machinery at farms facilities, including equipment fitted digital for collecting information about state animals, yield, parameters other indicators, robots. Milking installations provided by system machines are designed cows stalls, parlors, maternity wards. According their engineering level, they must ensure fulfillment physiological let-down requirements, productive longevity etc. developed artificial intelligence allows planning monitoring main processes a farm. Feed paramount importance prime cost raw milk. feed affects profitability production. Spectrometers, pocket ones, can be used analysis. Improvement production will help increase competitiveness

Breeding and Genetics: Dairy Cattle Breeding I
Humans obtain a number of products from animals. These include food, clothing, medical materials, companionship and research knowledge to name a few. A valued ethic contends that it is inappropriate for one to treat another as a means to an end. In short, it is wrong to treat another as simply a product. Historically, non-human beings have not been included as “others” and thus their treatment ...

Protein-damaging stresses, including heat shock, cold, altered pH and oxygen deprivation induce the expression of a subgroup of molecular chaperones, called heat shock proteins (Hsp), which consist of several protein families designated by their molecular weight, such as the Hsp90, Hsp70, Hsp60, and the small Hsp (sHsp) families. Small heat shock proteins (sHsp) with a molecular mass of 15–30 k...

Advances in breeding and management resulted in a considerable increase of production traits in Austrian dairy cattle. Besides, low input systems were also established. Possible genotype by environment interactions (G x E) and genetic antagonisms dependent on production level might indicate the need for separate breeding programmes for dairy farms diff ering in management intensity. Th us, G x ...

last rib backfat thickness, broken vertebrae, or scores for stomach ulcers (P > 0.21). Also, deletions of VTM premixes did not affect these same measurements (P > 0.22). However, RAC decreased (P < 0.01) backfat thickness by 8% and tended to decrease scores for stomach ulcers (P < 0.06). In conclusion, there were no interactions to suggest that the effects of RAC on growth performance and carca...

• A calving interval of 13.5 months is an achievable goal that will produce higher daily milk yield and higher milk yield over the length of the lactation. To achieve this goal average days to first service should be <80, yearly 21-day Pregnancy Rates should average >20% and culling for reproductive failure should not exceed 10%. • Management must set standard operating procedures for all aspec...
